Nothing to See Here

I would almost relish the gutting of LiveJournal as if it was a Moscow newspaper that's been too critical of the Kremlin. If it disappears this year, it would trap it forever in the decade's amber, a mere memory of the Naughts. There's something quite satisfying in that thought.
By the way, "Maude S--" was a very clumsy anagram for Medusa. All of her sculptures were people who had turned to stone in her gaze. She dies in Henry's arms (after he kills Madison Monroe and arrives too late to stop Mangopolous' remaining goons from killing her and her sisters), and Henry is turned to stone as well as he tearfully kisses her for the first and last time, but later he's restored to health by mystical powers of Don Ix (who, incidentally, looks just like Senor Misterioso). Roll credits, over Sinatra singing "Summer Wind."

Now you swear and kick and beg us
That you're not a gambling man
Then you find you're back in Vegas
With a handle in your hand
Your black cards can make you money
So you hide them when you're able
In the land of milk and honey
You must put them on the table
You go back Jack do it again
Wheel turning round and round
You go back Jack do it again
